Registration Instructions
Remember that you can't select more than one 20-hour (100 Series) course. To register online, please click on the following link to see which courses/tracks are available; Online Registration.
10 and 20 hour Track/Courses
Selecting One 20-Hour Course (100 Series) A 20-hour course runs Monday through Thursday. You can only select one 20-hour course. Selecting One 10-Hour Course (200 or 300 Series) You may attend for just two days either Monday and Tuesday for the 200 Series courses or Wednesday and Thursday for the 300 Series courses. You can only select one course for a 10-hour course. Selecting Two 10-Hour Courses (One 200 Series and One 300 Series) You may attend the full school (Monday through Thursday) by selecting two (2) 10-hour tracks, one (1) from the 200 series and one from the 300 series. Alternate Choice As class assignment will be on a first-come, first-served basis, it is recommended that you make a SECOND CHOICE. Please Note The school reserves the right to assign students to alternate courses if their first choice is full, cancelled, or otherwise unavailable. Please select alternate courses when completing the online registration process by entering your alternate choice(s) in the "Additional Notes" section on the checkout page. Register early to ensure you can attend the course(s) of your choice.
Registration Fees
The registration fees for the School have remained stable, even as the course offerings have continued to improve. The Board of Directors is committed to bringing each student the highest educational value possible. The School has been well subscribed to throughout its history. Early registration and full payment of fees will help assure the student of his or her first choice. 20-Hour Track Fees (Including Two 10-Hour Courses)
Starting July 1, 2010 - $300.00 10-Hour (Individual) Track Fees
Starting July 1, 2010 - $150.00 Sunday Workshop Fees
Starting July 1, 2010 - $45.00 If you want to attend on of the Sunday Workshops in addition to your conference registration, please include payment in the price.
Please Note You may ONLY register for a single Sunday Workshop. However, registration for a single Sunday Workshop DOES NOT include admission to any other FSAS scheduled event.

Cash (for on-site registration only), Personal, Company, Cashier’s, or Traveler’s Checks, Money Order payable to FSAS for mail-in registration forms, and MasterCard, Visa or Discover Card for both online registration and mail-in registration.
All items accepted for payment, other than cash, must be made payable for the exact amount to the Florida School of Addictions Studies (FSAS), be completed and signed in ink. No second party or counter checks will be accepted. Checks returned for non-sufficient funds will be subject to a $30.00 returned check fee.
Purchase Orders If you are registering on a Purchase Order (for companies only), please indicate the P.O. number and company on the Registration Form or through the online registration process. Scholarship Recipients If you have been awarded a scholarship, please indicate so by entering the coupon code for online registration or checking the Scholarship box on the Registration Form.Refunds
Refund requests made prior to July 12, 2010 will be subject to a $25 Administrative Fee. Requests for refunds received on or after July 12, 2010 will require written FSAS Board approval.
On-Site Registration
Check-in and on-site registration will be on Sunday, July 18, 2010, from 10:00am until 12:00pm and 12:30pm until 5:00pm, and Monday and Wednesday from 7:00am until 8:00am at the Registration counter in the main lobby of the University Center. UNF will be set up for on-campus housing registration on Sunday, July 18, 2010 in the University Center near the FSAS Registration counter.
Student Substitutions and Track Changes
Agencies or individuals requesting student substitutions must do so in writing and will be admissible only with the permission of the School Coordinator. Requests for changes from original course selection will be contingent upon seating availability and permission from the School Coordinator.

Florida Certification Board Written Exams
Your registration and completion of the CAP Preparation Course does not register nor qualify you for the Florida Certification Board written exams. For information pertaining to the written exam please visit the FCB's Exams page for upcoming tests and registration cut-off dates. Please visit the FCB contact page to schedule for the exam, or if you need further information about the requirements.
